"Forum Games" Subsection for "Games"

(1/5) > >>

Deathie:
I put a suggestion for a similar board a long time ago, but I thought it'd make a request now.

Subsection for 'Games' Board titles 'Forum Games'

Things like count to 1000 using pictures, and the 'one word game' can go in there

It'd have the same attributes of the 'Games' board, except

- Post counts cannot rise

Since most of these topics get binned for that exact reason.

Cable:
Sounds good i guess.
But whats the big deal about people getting high post counts just from games and stuff? It doesn't really bother me.

I guess one way to look at it, is your post count shows how long you've been discussing in the forums, and if you have a count of like 600, of just single words or images, it kind of ruins the illusion. A form of seniority, you could say.

It has more of an impact on someone registering for regular, when someone who has five pretty stars next to their name +1'ns them, as opposed to someone who is a newbie with two posts.

High post count =/= Established into the community

Least, that's the way I see it. I know others will disagree with me, but can see what I mean by some degree.

The forums are a way for people to communicate outside of the game, show that RND isn't JUST ALL ABOUT GAMES, but is also a community that support each other. If it wasn't for the forums, I probably might have never tried the other gamemodes :L

What I'm trying to say, is that a post count means /something/, or else they wouldn't bin these topics, or care about spam.

Don:
implying people would play these games if their postcount wouldn't rise.
