Almost every kid in my school played that game. Of course they were all noobs and were level's 3-20. I think me and my friend were the highest levels at that time. I waz level 57 and my friend was 61, then we both leveled him up to 80. Then of-course we shared the account, I paid $7 every now and then for membership.
Those were the days, until my friend with the lvl 80 got a keygen or some shit and got the account hacked. Then of-course after that, everyone moved onto Maplestory.
Edit: Bleh, they took all the good, fast ways of making money out. Like quite some time ago, that little mining area near varrock had 3 or 4 coal ores. I always went to the lowest players world and mined it from there. I made a good 40k per 200 ore. But they took that away and replaced it with Iron :( So sadly, the only way I can get money now is to take a 50% chance on smelting iron bars and selling them in increments of 112 just for 25k...
I just got done selling my iron ore and crap to the grand exchange. +25k.
@ Jman, runescape was actually pretty fun before 2007, And it still sorta-is, with the wilderness and free trade cumming back on the 1st and all.
Matter of fact, I was such an RS geek that I actually bought the RS beginners guide from my school bookfair :C
