Japanese people arent that unfriendly with U.S. troops, since our troops are the dominating force in the area. They don't even have their own military. They have a little defense force called the "JDF." They RELY on us for defense. Don't give me that crap that they don't trust us.

You do know that this was over 40 years from that time? The Japaneses government have made peace with us for quite a while after the war. So I'm sure they have forgiven us by now and built trust with us. The Jap's wanted to be faggots this time and not accept our help, RIGHT when we were at the crash site. If they didn't let us help due to that reason, why are American's allowed to visit Japan in the first place? Better yet, why are we allowed to live in Japan if they did not trust us.
Or, what you are telling us is that...well say you own a country, and you just got out of war with Mexico. Its been 20 years since and you have made peace with them since. But a major tragedy happens, and Mexican rescue forces were on scene. You'd rather have your own people die, waiting for your countries help before accepting Foreign aid?
