I already have in Mind where I want to start (Gerudo Valley), but I'm having difficulty finding a actual sample pack.
I might end up just tearing apart the original songs for samples if I can't find one.
Which will take me a while, and that somewhat dissapoints me, because I have the tune in mind and everything ;-;
------
Also, I can grab all the sounds for weapons, and various other items.
After looking a little more at the project, it would be the first completely finished MMORPG For garrysmod.
The biggest factor I see, is trying to keep it a relatively small filesize, along with the fact you'd want to make it shitty-pc safe.
My suggestion?
Have multiple servers running, with different sections of the map.
Also, what direction do you want the music to go? Keep it in the traditional Zelda style, or give it another genre's feel (Rock, Techno, w/e). I'll try to put together some different variations so you might be able to get an idea.

Heyas, I checked out the SVN and looked over the code... Really not much to it so far lol. Although it seems like it could be pretty interesting.
At the moment though there appears to be no actual game play design, just a tiny base to work from. From a code perspective I believe it would be wise to start out with a solid game play design and work from there.
I would perhaps be interested in writing some Lua for it, IF and only IF the community will help come up with a solid game play design that will actually be fun and addictive. Like any Zelda should be. ;)
So let's hear some good ideas!

So the first step would be to brainstorm different ideas for the project, right?
This is basically a MMORPG for the Zelda World.
My only concern is that every team that tried to do one of these is that they usually hit some sort of roadblock, or don't have enough time to devote to the project.

Cake Faice:
I can do some modeling. Not giant, complicated objects with over 9000 polygons, but some medium/minor stuff like knife's and swords and bombs and stuff. Good luck turning them into swep's :3
