So I applied for a job about a week ago...

And I was really excited about it, because it's to be a swimming instructor at this place I used to go to as a kid. I am still excited, but now I am starting to worry a bit. This is my first job, and it requires teaching little children how to swim. Now I don't think I'd let any of them drown, in fact I hope that with me already being CPR certified and then getting extra training there(plus the main coach there knows me well since I was on his team for 4 years back in '07) I won't have anything to worry about, but alas. I am also kind of unsure of how I should approach my interview if I get one.
Do any of you guys have a job yet? I mean I am fully aware that some of you do, but do any of you guys have anything that takes any major physical effort?

I was a commercial fisherman for almost a decade. It required a very substantial amount of physical effort.
As long as you did swimming as a sport in highschool and did reasonably well you should be fine.
It's possible it might require a degree in physical education but that all depends on the program.
As for the interview, just be yourself, be honest, and no matter what happens you won't have anything to regret. It sounds like you have a personal relationship with the coach which will help more than most of your qualifications will. Sounds like you should do fine.
Good luck

I asked them and you don't need and sort of certification, they will give you training there. I am hoping to get it, it's a job I really want.

Perhaps it will be like the Burgerking interview. Have you ever committed a felony or used recreational drugs? Oh yes? When can you start?
