War Thunder - an absolute god-tier game

I started playing this game about a month ago and I fucking love it, it pretty much became the only game I ever play now, this game even made me stop playing Battlefield 3 so this should speak for itself.
  War Thunder is a game about WW2 aviation and eventually it will also have tanks and ships but as of now it is in open beta phase so there is still a lot of things to be added, none the less it is already awesome. You even get to save the world with the Luftwaffe.
   This game has 5 nations: USA, Germany, USSR, Britain and Japan. You unlock new planes by playing each nation individually. The game also has 3 main game modes: Arcade battles - basically a normal air battle, Historical battles where you take part in actual battles that took place in WW2, your planes also fly and behave more realistically, and Full real battles which as far as I know is the same as historical battles except you can only use the cockpit view.
   The game is still in open beta so there is still lots of things that will be added eventually.

There are quite a lot of ways to set up your controls. I myself use the simplified controls with mostly mouse aim + some keyboard bindings for my elevator and shit. Personally I think that controls are very simple but keep in mind that I used to play quite a few flying games before.

I've also seen people on War Thunder forums saying that it's hard for people with joystick to compete with mouse aimers so that doesn't encourage me to ever try buying a joystick. I imagine this being the same as with the gaming wheel when in real life driving a car is pretty simple, in game using the same controls makes it retardedly difficult.
