CSGO going F2P soon(?)

I don't think that CS:GO will really be going F2P since if you're talking about dota 2 how they went F2P, DotA 2 was originally made to be F2P and It was Valve's plan all along.

and for CS:GO it wasn't made to be F2P at the start and all the items doesn't affect the gameplay.
