The day when the media will stop serving government's interests and start reporting things that actually matter the way its meant to be reported is probably gonna be the day when we will not have any more wars, as of now, here have this, meanwhile there was an earth quake in China with multiple deaths and hundreds wounded but who am I kidding a royal brat is so much more important. Tbh I see nothing wrong with it. Sure you're going to hear a lot of it and it might mean nothing you do but it means something to a lot of people. Also why shouldn't the media stop serving the government's interests? I don't really see that as a bad thing, that's how they're going to do things and if you don't like it it's really not hard to ignore it and not care. Back onto my point though the royal family represents a lot and is a huge part of Great Britain and their culture. You don't question or insult that.
So many people do this and I see it so often it truly annoys the hell out of me. It's easy for people to complain about another nation's culture but defend your own because obviously your culture is what you've accustomed to and is a major part of your way of life. So when people challenge and question and insult your culture, disrespecting and judging it, you're going to defend it because that's what you've been taught to do. And that's fine, that's good in fact. How ever sometimes it's necessary to put yourself in the other person's shoes sometimes because maybe you don't realize what you're doing and that in fact you would feel it's not okay if it's being done to you.
What I'm saying is more or less choke it down and deal with it. This is a fairly big deal to some people whether you understand it or not because it's a part of their culture and living and isn't right for you to judge or complain about. Yea, you're going to have to deal with hearing about it for a while. Unless someone's beating you up on the order of the royal family then deal with it.
In my opinion, hearing all the CONSTANT whining about the royal family is far far more irritating than actually hearing about the royal family. And I hear the complaints more than I actually hear about the family.

Do you have any idea what you're justifying? So, it's okay for the media to build massive propaganda campaigns and then go to war? The best example is middle east, Iraq, Afghanistan - hundreds of thousands if not millions killed and for what? A nuclear weapon? Oh come the fuck on, anyone who can do their own research can tell that it was done for natural resources. In fact they've been trying to do the same thing with Iran too, for years, not to mention that media also shifts attention from important domestic issues that would help people to realize that their government (mostly referring to USA here) is doing a lot of bad. Another example is how media literally ignored Ron Paul from 2012 election when out of all candidates he was the only one who promised a real change, but that was a big thread for the current establishment and military complex and a great good for the so called 99%.

Did I ever said I have a problem with their culture? No I didn't. I said that I don't like how much attention world wide is this thing getting when there were so much more important issues that didn't got half of what this thing did. Oh and by the way, the media judges other cultures in middle east or even in Asia and unfortunately, not too good most of the time.

Again, I do not care about the family, its the attention they're getting over other, more important issues, and this misleads people and gives them wrong understanding of the current events and world that we live in.
