Goes to show the enigmatic bond between man and dog. I feel so damn sorry for the owner, watching his dog being shot is the exact thing as seeing one of you family members being shot by the police.

Getting your dog shot by police is bad but that happening to a family member is definitely much worse. I don't think that such things should even be compared in the first place.

But to many a Dog is a family member. Especially to how the Owner reacted.

I understand that, but I don't think that one would pick dog's life over child's or one of the parent's life.
