The used games/always online situation is kinda sad.

Don't get me wrong. I'm excited for the PS4 and I plan on buying one probably next year.

But anyone else think it's kinda sad that we are happy that they aren't fucking us over? It's just like "Woohoo! You didn't rape me, I mean you are swirling your finger around my butt hole and making me a little uncomfortable a little bit(Plus is needed to play online) but you didn't really rape me. Thanks you rock! :D"

Obviously a kinda extreme example. But  I couldn't think of anything else really.(Seeing as what Microsoft is doing should be considered rape.) It's weird how they slapped on must pay for online and people don't seem to mind. Many defending it completely. As a willing member of PSN+ who has a sub that doesn't even end until 2015. It pisses me off a little that we must have it... :/


The funny thing is though. Everyone seemed to forget Nintendo in all this. Not only can you play used games and isn't always online, but it's free multiplayer. Though on the flip side of that, WiiU still has pretty bad online.
...I mean 2013 and they still don't have a real account system. It is kinda sad that even PS3/360 last gen consoles have better online stuff. If you buy stuff in 3DS/WiiU store and you system dies or something. Say goodbye to all your digital stuff.


Sucks that all consoles now have quite a few cons. Though I guess everyone(like myself.) like the PS4 because it has the least amount of cons.

I felt it was pretty retarded that the most cheer Sony got was from the announcement that they weren't taking draconian measures to secure the game licenses. However, I think Nintendo's online system does really well. I do believe it would be nice to tie accounts to purchases if they haven't yet on the Wii U... just makes sense to me. I know you can manually retrieve them by contacting Nintendo with your invoice ready but it's just another hoop I don't think you should have to jump through.
