On the topic of anger issues and internet
๖Ϝцzsioᴎ:
So, as some if not most of you know I have some horrible anger issues, when I constantly get picked on the internet in a single day I get pissed off, but when it's in a real situation, I could give less of a fuck.
For those who do have the same issue I have, what do you do to control yourself? I've talked to my parents and psychiatrist/psychologist/whatever about this and they said it's usually when you go through hormones and shit, also when you've had previous issue in the past such as insults you've heard before that made you feel bad. I'd like this to be a serious thread because this is a quite serious topic and I've had this for quite a while...
Sabb:
Tbh I find that this type of an issue is only actually an issue if you let it be. I don't find it hard to suppress anger in most situations. It really is quite controllable. If you find yourself getting mad when there's not really a need to it's really not hard to find solutions to stop that. Simply get away from what's causing it in an appropriate manner, or tell yourself it doesn't matter and consciously make an effort to calm yourself and not be so angry.
TehHank:
I find if i get really angry about something internet related, i get up, walk outside and take some deep breaths and do a little ol' dance.
Frank:
Well, anger being an expression of aggressive energy, rather than supress it, I'd recommend channeling it to something good/productive. Do some art, exercise, build a better yourself. Use your anger power for something benefical rather than just drowning in it.

Or just not be angry. Works for me at least.
