Stabbing pain in throat when I swallow. 4 days still there

As of this post it has been going on for 4 days, I looked online and said to use antibiotics, tried that and did not work, tried cough drops and still nothing.
It also said if I had "strep throat" i would have white spots on the back of my throat, nothing there.
Any ideas? This is really annoying and I hope atleast one person knows.

best advice would be to go to the medic.

Me, a couple of days at home in your bed with hot tea should be enought.

I know what you're going through dude. I've had it maybe two or three times, usually when I had a wire change for my braces.

I'm sure there's some way of treating it quickly but I just gave it around a week until it died out. Just stick to whatever's easier to eat and keep yourself occupied. Things can get real fucking slow. Also, take an aspirin every now and then. Should take around 30% of the pain off for a couple of hours, but that's just my experience with it.

I've gone through a week of hell with that issue from a wisdom tooth infection. I had to wait mine out unfortunately. It got better as the week went on, but what I did was simply live off of Jello and Cheesecake.
