I got a GigaByte P67A-UD4-B3 motherboard
and it supports DDR3

I wanted to put in the ram which is in my old computer but i found out that it was DDR2
So before that i pulled out the ram in my new computer to check if it was DDR3 or DDR2
After that i pulled out the DDR2 rams and put back my DDR3 ram.
I booted up my computer and i only had 4 GB of ram so  i knew that i did
something wrong.
I opened up back my computer and the ram was not locked in place
I tried to push it as hard as i can trying to not apply too much force and break it
But the locks wont lock the ram in place.

I need help here

๖Ϝцzsioᴎ:
...Did you try flipping it?

gmod101:
I tried but the ram has a notch on it which i must line up with the slot plus i wouldnt want to plug in the ram with the gold electrode facing upwards(Upside down)
But anyways i'll take it to the IT shop tomorrow

Xrain:
As you push the ram in with your thumbs (in the correct orientation) Use your pointer fingers to pull up the locking tabs at the same time you are pushing down. The tabs can get jammed sometimes.

gmod101:
Okay thanks i also wasnt pushing hard enough
Problem solved
