Minecraft Shaders Mod
(1/1)
๖Ϝцzsioᴎ:
Before you start, keep in mind this is for legit users, sorry pingaz users, for some reason it doesn't work for you.
Also this is for users who play on minecraft version 1.4.7, there is a 1.5 version but it is EXTREMELY buggy.
If you play on singleplayer, back up your maps, just do it, to do this go into run and type %appdata% then .minecraft; copy the saves folder to a place you will remember.
Shaders mod requires a very good computer, otherwise you will end up with overheating and playing a slideshow.
Shaders looks like this:

Alright now that we got that out of the way now shall we get into installing this?
If you want dynamic shadows, download this here:

Alright, you have all these files, what do I do with them?
First two things you need.
1. GLSL Shaders http://www.mediafire.com/?noq9b97sa9vvn5r
This is the "loader" for the shaders to actually work, without this the shaders won't work at all.
2. Optifine http://optifine.net/adload.php?f=OptiFine_1.4.6_HD_U_D5.zip
This mod alone can increase your framerate by at least half.
This is so even with a high end computer your framerate won't go to 0.
Now that you downloaded those two, remember that .minecraft folder I told you to open?
Do the same thing, but go into bin folder.
Look for minecraft.jar, right click and open with 7-zip/WinZip/WinRar/whatever.
There should be a folder called META-INF, don't hesitate to delete the folder it's required for this to work otherwise your minecraft will be a black box of nothing. If anything goes wrong with installing, you can always force update in the launcher.
Open up optifine and select all files and drag those suckers into minecraft.jar
Do the same thing with GLSL.
Now open up the shaders mod and drag all the VSH and FSH in the "shaders" folder in the minecraft.jar, if it's not there, simply create one.
Open up a world/multiplayer game and see the beauty.
If you want bump mapping and/or parallax, download a texture pack from http://fenlight.enjin.com/home/m/6692253/viewthread/6241982-texture-packs-shaders-downloads-update-thread# and install one to your texturepacks folder in .minecraft.
Hope this helped :D
And don't say "i alredy new dis huhu"
yoshi:
Pingaz minecraft will work since it simply removes the need to login and goes on offline mode.
