How do you find good music ?

So yah I need to really develop  better music taste but by myself and some help of course so do you know any good songs/artists or any tips on how to become a pro in music searching

Well when you look for for music ill give you some tips.
Look for a genre. Although there are mixed reviews for every genre, there are good artists.

The trickiest part is to find a good artist. Look for the big names before looking for hidden underground artists.
When looking at there songs they might have many and it will be overwhelming.

Use this website, it helped me a lot when looking at new artists.

Rhapsody but it costs money, it's worth it tho. Don't remember how much I'm paying, I think like 60 dollars a year for unlimited music and everything. Shows related/similar artists or albums to whatever you're listening to. It's really cool tho.

My music taste is really diverse, I started out loving the Beatles like 5ish years ago and then like 2 years later my dad, who really loves music, has a taste for everything and always has an opinion, wanted me to go listen to The Clash, so I did and I was fucking hooked. I listened to them for probably 6 months straight, nothing else. And the Clash are a very diverse group, they played ska, reggae, dub, punk, they had a gospel track on one their albums, and a ton of other stuff. But somebody who was involved with the Clash, a reggae producer/artist named Mikey Dread, opened my eyes to reggae, and I was looking through all these reggae artists having the time of my life, and then after that I found a reggae act that I liked was involved with The Specials (ska) and then I found some cool post-punk stuff (The Stranglers, Gang Of Four, Joy Division) and then some sweet funky stuff (Talking Heads) and it all just branched off from there. A lot of it came from just surfing YouTube by searching up a song, listening to it, and then once it was finished I would look in the related box and find something that I thought might be good and listened to that, either that or look through Rhapsody.

but yeah it's always good to expand your musical horizons.

I usually find good songs because in the comments of most music videos on youtube, there's a shitstorm between x artist is better than y, you should go listen to x.
