Saddest games you've ever played?

I'd say the saddest to me would be

-The walking Dead. (yea I know I just said that first sentence. lol)
-MGS3 (ending)
-MGS4 (ending)
-COD4(ending.) Aka the last good COD besides CODWAW
I guess MW2 was somewhat sad when Spoiler (click to show/hide)Ghost and Roach died for no reason.-Nier (ending. Though I've yet to get the last secret endings.)
-R&C TOD (ending)
-R&C ACIT when Spoiler (click to show/hide)Ratchet died.  He came back. But man that shit was sad...-KH days (ending) Spoiler (click to show/hide)Though I imagine she will be brought back to fucking life like everyone else...
I notice these are all this gen games... I'm having trouble thinking of older guys that made me sad... hm.... weird.

Anyways, what games were saddest to you?

Counter Strike 1.6,because when i think back at how i played it 2 years straight i get sad feelings and memories

I guess in MW3 when soap died,even though i hate CoD i kinda like the characters

I wasted 3 or 4 years on Runescape.... but I have some really good memories from them. Before the game went to shit. lol

Shoulda spoiled that. ;p I think Capt Prices reaction to Soap's death was more sad than Soap's death. Soaps Death was lame imo.

There isn't much that is genuinely sad in gaming, the CoD: Modern Warfare 2/3 story lines are more like a joke so they can shut reviewers up.

I'd say that the endings to games aren't very sad, just aggravating because you know that the writers could have done so much more to give a more satisfying ending to a game **Read Dead Redemption**

Final Fantasy X can make you a little sad when you discover that your journey was _____________________________

Then there's all the other games with their multiple endings (Heavy Rain/Mass Effect), I don't think that those should really count in this discussion, but the bad endings are usually more entertaining than the good ones.
