Just show her the art gallery you already have? That's what I do with my family. If I personally were to try to throw something together with no other motive other than to impress someone with how I've improved since so and so date, it probably wouldn't turn out the way I want it to. I think it'd be best to just show her you most recent art you personally like the most.

yeah. I'm probably going to just end up doing that. I just thought it'd be nice to work on something really hard since I haven't really drawn anything that great recently, but like you said, if it's just to impress someone It's probably going to end up badly done anyways.

though, I still might try something if anyone gives a good enough idea :v

Well you're the artist, not us, so it's hard for us to give you an idea of something to draw if you're doing it to try and show your ability. You know your strengths in drawing much better than any of us would. Or at least what you would consider to be your strengths.
