Click the Download link
Use 7-zip to extract it ( http://7-zip.org/ )
When it asks password is: rANdOm
Double click or execute the "FTB1.2.2.jar" file included in the main folder.
When it asks you to select a folder select the included "ftb" folder right next to the "FTB1.2.2.jar" - *THIS IS IMPORTANT*
If it doesn't ask you to select a folder:
-- Navigate to %roaming% in windows and remove the ftblauncher or related directory on mac/linux (probably your user root folder)
OR
-- Go to the ftb OPTIONS tab and choose the appropriate "ftb" folder there
Recommended latest java 7 version for running it: ( http://java.com/ )

This server is no longer vanilla and will be using mods to extend gameplay possibilities! :D
