My "undead" laptop

Laptop hard drive I think failed, but came back to life after spinning my computer clock-wise  ???
After I powered it down, it turned itself on after an hour, this I don't really understand.

Laptop made some buzzing when booted, but goes away after 3 mins of it being turned on. Hard drive made an odd sound, and copying speed is 2MB/s! Huzzah! (Only tested it on a USB flash drive, don't know about my actual drive)
