Now the problem is that I fucked up my particles. I copied too much shit. If I shoot, I see black and purple squares coming out of my gun and every time I die, instead of the usual screen, it's just black and purple. Do I need to get the particles from the original?

Hmmmm interesting, ive experienced the Particle problem when shooting, i simply verified the integrity then recopied everything. As for the Death screan i dont get what you mean

Instead of the regular countdown the press space to respawn with a kill cam, I just get a whole screen of black and purple "missing" textures.

Sounds like strongholds content, not CS.

Well I merged CS models, materials, particles, and sound files into gmod files and it worked.

Can someone upload their particles folder for me please?

Easy fix, go into the addon and rename info.txt to addon.txt
