Technically i half caught it but my dad caught me tryign to rell it in then my rod snapped. It was a very strong wire i remember

We actually had two packs of Liver that we were using as bait.
One was fresh, and the other was actually left out in the sun accidentally and was clearly rotten. The rotten bait actually worked far better than the fresh one, so there's that.

If the wire was stronger then the rod then I don't think the rod was very good lol.

I used to fish alot when I was younger. The only advice I can give is that you need to do the research on the type of location you need to fish in: Rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, ocean, etc. all have different tactics you should use.
Bobbers in rivers don't work very well.

I honestly don't remember. I don't think we even weighed it, actually. I'd have to ask my cousin if he remembers.

We got lent them by a guy in the fishing hut shop. They looked pretty worn. Dunno about the wire.
