Axule brings up a very good point. You should run BF3 fine on high settings @ 1080p if you get anything better than a 560/7770. Metro 2033 and Crysis, the two most demanding games on the market, can both be completed in under 20 hours. Are you really going to spend $100 more so those 20 hours can look very good, as opposed to just "good"? You will undoubtedly play games that aren't very demanding more than the select few that require a powerhouse to max out. (Gmod being a prime example.)
