CSS content on GMod without buying CSS

Well, my step brother recently bought gmod, but not CSS. We have tried copying the files over manually, but the v_models don't work, and the w_models only show if they are a prop. If they are a weapon on the ground, its a shadow of the gun, and when he tried to pick it up, he gets SMG ammo instead of the gun.
Help please? c:

But then why aren't the CSS models working?

Don't know, but why would you want those over HD ones?

They are extracted from the gcf files, so get "greenluma" or whatever that programs' name is.
