It's funny, because I was working on something with the acapella of that a couple days ago. I took his voice and sliced it up to make a beat out of it, kind of similar to what I did to this song.

And then used the vocals as every part of the song, the bass, percussion, etc.
But it sounded as bad as it sound in theory, so I scrapped it. I like how it's easier to do that kind of stuff in sony vegas than it is in an actual DAW.
So short answer is, tried it already, failed miserably. I can't bring anything to the song than what's already there.
It's a lot funner to do simple tunes, like pokemon music and shit because it leaves a LOT of room to play around with it. When you have a complex or really good song, it's harder to add more to it than what there already is.
