--- Quote ---Pilot's VIP Application
Hey everyone, I'm going to switch up the format a bit. I'll keep it short and simple, because I believe it's not so much the application size but the quality of the person applying that really makes someone VIP material.

Why I'm applying:
In my own honest opinion, community-player relations has degraded not only during the main server down-time, but in the past year in general. The forum community was and has been a lot of veteran VIPs and administrators discussing the future of the community. Only recently has there been a flood of new players and new forum-goers, probably due to the main server coming back up.
In order to keep these new players here and give them the best chance at enjoying the community, their experience both in-game and on the forums should be the best. Most of you keep the forums pretty enjoyable, but I believe I could help in-game. I'm not necessarily saying I should be VIP to votekick/ban players that are ruining the game; that's just a sidejob. In-game, VIPs should be representing the community at it's best and giving players reason to continue returning to rNd. I'll be blunt: as a pretty active and friendly player in-game, with the VIP tag and power I could represent the better side of the community and improve community-player relations in-game.
I'm mostly a forum lurker, which is why I'm mentioning "in-game" so much. On the forums, I'm either reading your guys' conversations, posting ban requests, or supporting people in their regular applications.

My past:
I've applied for VIP once before, last year. I'll be the first to admit I'm not and never have been a perfect player. I don't believe anyone can be. Because VIPs should be judged on their history, both good and bad, here are examples of me at my worst:
http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,8151.0.html (see iPounce's post)
http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,9932.615.html (Minecraft issues - probably a few pages back/forth from that one)
Despite the links above, I am for the most part a good and honest player. I've made many exceptional and approved ban requests (not putting links, most of you who are going to judge this have already seen them), and give my honest opinion on players when asked. I'm pretty patient in most situations and wait to speak, because I know that speaking too early in an active problem can sometimes lead you away from a solution.

What I hope you'll consider:
With the main servers just recently stabilizing, new players are going to be looking for their spot in the community. VIPs are going to be needed in-game, doing the legwork and helping them along to and through that process. I think that I'd be an excellent candidate to consider for that position.
Like I said, short and simple. Thank you for considering my application.

I don't know if you all remember the incident with the old PVP minecraft server.
Although it eventually ended with pilot being let off easy, he showed a disrespect for authority and condescending attitude that doesn't just go away. The minecraft server incident was three months ago.
I can't even begin to list all the reasons why Pilot shouldn't be allowed to exercise authority over anything larger than a goldfish. This is the biggest "no" I can possibly give to an application.

Regardless of what occurred then, I still believe Pilot would make a great VIP. Why?
When I first began playing Deacon's Minecraft server, I was pretty bad. I had found an exploit via the LWC chests and abused it. I was banned, naturally, and that was the end of that.
Also, when I had first joined rNd and started playing on the TTT server, I had ghosted way too many times before I turned myself in.
My point it, just because of this incident with Pilot and Gamefreak's/Snivy's server, that doesn't mean Pilot is going to abuse VIP privileges. Hell, I was a lot worse than him when I first began and look where I am now.
+1 from me
