I'm fine with dieing at the normal human life span....unless hell is real.

Then I'd be okay with immortality.

>If Dmitry Itskov's 2045 initiative plays out as planned, humans will have the option of living forever with the help of machines in only 33 years.
>It may sound ridiculous, but the 31-year-old Russian mogul is dead serious about neuroscience, android robotics, and cybernetic immortality.
>He has already pulled together a team of leading Russian scientists intent on creating fully functional holographic human avatars that house artificial brains which contain a person's complete consciousness - in other words, a humanoid robot.
>Together, they've laid out an ambitious course of action that would see the team transplant a human brain into an artificial body (or 'avatar') in as little as seven years time.

What do you guys make of this?

We were also suppose to have laser guns flying cars and robot maids by 2000.

Immortality is bad.

Living forever means not being able to have a family, they would just die. Losing your loved ones again, again and again.

inb4 super population increase

Unless the government is going to control reproduction, that's going to be a problem.

overpopulation IS a problem right now.

the money that costs a flat in a not to nice spot of spain is worth enought to buy a really big house in a decent place or Peru

also, my dad's flat is worth the double than what he bought it for.

With that i belive some people would be living a really nice life, but other would be living a hell with no food or money to buy a house.
