  I have played in game with you a couple times, and you don't seem like a bad person from what I've seen. I am not sure how you act in other games but my opinion on this will stay the same no matter. I suggest keeping your rank, it's more or less something you grow from. If you feel there is a flaw in yourself, rather than being hard on yourself and revoking yourself of whatever privilege you have, work to make yourself a better person.

  I honestly believe it takes a lot for someone to willingly admit that they are immature, and for that I respect you. To come to that conclusion shows you actually have some maturity, so see you're already getting somewhere. Do what you believe is right, and avoid doing things to intentionally anger/annoy people and you will see that people will come to respect you more; to gain respect you must give it. And see it's not really even about being a "regular" it's just the mentality of what having a rank gives you. I realize that even the most minor of responsibility can sometimes weigh heavy, and sometimes you might not feel ready, but you'll get used to it eventually as you grow, no matter what the case is. ;)
