Report fill out form
blαh2355:
I've been to some other TTT servers and witnessed and rdmer so I was going to report on their forums when I found this. Can we implement something like this in our reporting section?
This only posts the report on the forum automatically but it's still up for discussion and current rules still apply.

What's wrong with doing the EXACT SAME THING just with a simple copy and paste. Either way they both have to fill out the information and It wouldn't make a difference at all.

Well if we implement this we can have a reduction of people making a fail report and force them to fill out this form. For example: http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,12614.0.html
And this is a bit more tidier imo. It's not gonna hurt us either.

True, BUT it also removes the user input not just from the one reporting, but from others who were there, the one being reported, etc - that is not IMO good.
With this system, it seems like THIS report for example would have been approved since you'd only have the evidence the reportee presented, and not get the input from those who pointed out how what happened there wasn't against the rules, the more technical aspects of what happened, etc.
I like the idea of streamlining the process, but if it doesn't give a chance for the accused to reply, for that person - and those who play with him or her - to reply, explain, give counterevidence, then I don't think I'd want it replacing anything. :nu: :nu:

I made a simple copy/paste form for that reason. It is a format we like, while still being a post available for discussion (emphasis on DISCUSSION, not +1)
Its still Here.
