Yeah. You can pirate Arma 2 for the content, if you want. Arma 2 free has everything you need though, they just have lower-res textures.
If you decide to get the full arma 2 for content, follow the same instructions as you would for Arma 2.

Axule told me that there was a demo for Arma2 that could get me the stuff too....Would that work and give high res textures too?

No, the Demo is a Demo.
You need Arma 2 free for ALL The content.
