Have you ever been scammed/conned in either IRL or online?

Has anyone ever tried to scam you and failed/ or unfortunately they won?

Someone tried to pickpocket me and I backhanded him but he ran off. Scared me to death. (not really a scam but, yeah)

Guy told me an elaborate story that boiled down to him needing $10 more to get a locksmith (he locked himself out of his car, he said). 
I forget the details, but it was painfully obvious he was lying, so I told him to break his window.

Somebody stole about 150 dollars from me, I was just really stupid.

Millions of times when I used to play Runescape, millions of times.
