The only thing Crysis is actually used for now is bench-marking. You can say it was a good game but only such a big pool of people can play and enjoy.

You're absolutely correct. There's no right answer to which is better, only which you prefer. I play to win not to have fun so I don't like how ridiculously gay both franchises are becoming.

And yes, you can say which is better, simply by looking at how it's programmed. Bugs, optimization, etc.
