It's the most uninteresting fps in the world, if you're any younger then 14. If not you'll more then likely appreciate the realism when compared to any other fps present today. It's a first person with moderate rts elements meaning aka you control anywhere from 4-30ish guys and you can also take first person perspective on one of the squads and control vehicles and such from 1st person view whilst at the same time using your map to control your other units. Really good game if there's people on playing (have it for console). Heard red river (the sequel) wasn't too great though.

Red River tried to blend the Squad feel together, which took alot of the sandbox styling out of Dragon Rising (as in, you could go anywhere do anything to finish the mission within your time frames).
Its still a good time, once the fighting starts with China. There's just less to do.
Samo:
I actually really liked Dragon Rising. Though it was ruined when I played co-op with a few friends. They kept crashing our vehicles and getting hit all the time. Singleplayer was still pretty good though.
Deacon:
Yes, it was. Too bad codemasters shut down that studio, nO more operation flashpoints.

Call Of Duty is a run and gun
Battlefield you drive stuff, work in teams, have objectives
