The Kony 2012 campaign came to our school this week. I think it's really sad how a lot of people stray away from it because they think all the money that is donated to them doesn't go to a good cause and or because they don't think the LRA is still active.

Yeah, 37% does only go to Invisible Children, and that's where a lot of people are like "OH WELL SEE THEY BARELY DO SQUAT" no, the other money goes to different charities as well. Yeah they do use some of it for propaganda, because unfortunately the world revolves around money, and without that and advertising, no one will know who you are. And as for their activity, just in the past week or so 50-100 children have been abducted by them just northwest of Uganda, so they are still very much active. And even if they weren't, if someone were to kill your mother and your father, and got away with it for years and years and one day just stopped killing, wouldn't you still believe they deserved to be brought to justice for what they have done? So even though many people think this is a stupid cause especially people over the internet, I do support it, because I think they are actually trying to do something good; it's nice to think there is still some humanity left in the world.
