I lived in the philippines for quite awhile. I was born there, but was raised to speak english. Therefore, my first language was english.
I didn't speak anyother language other than english until I was about 6 years old.. That's when I was exposed to family members such as cousins who spoke tagalog. I left the Philippines at age 10 to leave for America. I've lived here ever since. My parents still talks to me in tagalog to "try" to preserve our supposed culture here in America, but they already know I'm far too Americanized (as in, I'd prefer a garden salad with crutons and ranch dressing than mom's kanin at adobo) since I respond to her cooking with "OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?" as she proudly responds with whatever filipino delicacy she whipped up.

Although I was a kid back then, I wasn't really aware of how living conditions were. I took life as it went and as long as I had a bed, toys, games and food (also a bath) I was all set. I didn't hit puberty in the philippines. I mostly spent my childhood days there. My innocent childhood days.

I don't mean to offend anyone at all with this video. But when I visited the philippines when I was about 15 years old (I am 20 years old now)... I couldn't stand living where I stayed at when I was a child.. This video pretty much sums everything that bothered me so much.
Also, to add in this video .. one of the things that bothered me so much..

1. FUCKING PERVERTS. No, you fucking raw chicken vendor, don't try to holler at me you god damn pervert. Don't smile at me with your missing teeth smile. You're fucking 50 years old.
