Not as slick as the Panther, but took Germany's original design and perfected it.

im really surprised the tiger didnt have sloping armor, much like its big brother the tiger II, and it was developed after the panther.sadly on 1500 of these heavy weights where ever produced T^T

The Germans wanted to prove that they could still use the old Mark I, II, III, IV design
and make it work.
