Yeah, that's what I did with me old PC. Had an ASRock that cost around 40 dollars, which, together with my GeForce 9500GT is now my family's PC.

The mobo I bought him costs around $120. It would severely suck the heads if we had to buy a new one.

Well, it happened to me after the warranty was over. Also, as far as I know, they should replace it. It's fucking impossible to fry the slot and ONLY the slot.

*ONLY the slot in purpose.

Well we've tried the onboard thing, no dice. Still froze. So I guess I'll have to take the whole motherboard back to the store to exchange it. Anyone else got any last minute ideas?
