Time to wait.

Jeez, I don't get all these jokes about such a great developer. He makes Half-Life, begins Steam even before it can be used for any decent downloads, makes a sequil to Half-Life and keeps it's greatness, purchases three mods from the community (DoD, CS, and TF) and updates them to a new engine while keeping their stellar gameplay, then he makes an innovative puzzle game (Portal) that ties in with the Half-Life cannon, then he then tries to release Half-Life games faster by putting them is episodes to keep the content/awesomeness ratio, then makes a sequel to his innovative puzzle game (Portal 2) and makes an even better game, then buys the rights to DoTA and makes a sequel, and you people STILL bitch about how lazy he is? The owner of a company that churns out great games is to be respected (as long as the games he/she comes out with are still great of cource).

Something about Valve: They do great work. They truly, truly do. But they are a very easy target to hit. Since they don't really have any dates they have to release their games by, nor any other companies telling them HURRY WE HAVE TO GET THIS GAME OUT BEFORE ____ SALES OF ____ GAME BEAT US!!!!1
Gabe himself is an easy target just because of his mannerisms. People know him as well...Could you name the CEO of EA without google? If you can, go see the sun a little more. His fan base (and valves as well) care enough about what they put out to identify the head and make him an icon. The jokes only add to that. Believe me, other than the mobs which are going to be organized by myself to demand the release of ep3 a few douches, people really do like valve. And I have nothing but respect for them. Even if Gabe ATE ALL OF THE--

Just a side note, he didn't really come up with the idea. A couple of college students were doing something with the idea of "Portal" for a project and Gabe liked what he saw, hired them, and created the game.
