rNd Community Donations!

coolzeldad:
This is a follow up to the discussion thread ( http://forum.randomgs.com/index.php/topic,10603.0.html )

So, I've considered it and set up a donation system using paypal - it's all ready to go.

Check out the page for now and tell me how it looks to you and maybe something that is missing in your opinion that should be added or fixed.

Community Donations Page: http://www.randomgs.com/rnddonate.html

The details are listed there but I'll repeat them here for sake of forum discussion:

--- Quote ---The funds will be collected to support prizes to winners of official competitions or end of year raffles.

If you are interested in donating, please note:

You do not receive any sort of advantage within the community for any type of monetary submittion (no gameplay, website incentives, or other privileges)
Donations will not help pay for the site or servers
Donations will be kept completely confidential unless you specify you would like to be included for the year's list
Donations are NOT required to be entered into community competitions or raffles

That being said, if you would like your name to appear on a list of donators please specify that along with your optional reason for donation.
Keep in mind this list is confidential in terms of amount donated.
--- End quote ---

Now I have a question I put in poll form and would appreciate if you voted: Where should the donations link be available?

Any other comments and concerns would be applicable to share here as well.

Thanks!

I think it should be on the public page. Player's who want to donate that aren't members on the forum won't have to go through the hassle of making an account (unless this is already mandatory). It would also make the page overall easier to access.
