A way to conceive another method to employ the idea of Economy, or better yet...
An economy-like concept involving a network or networks wherein demand and supply among participants is not so... loose/biased/want not need, and credit/debit does not exist, or does exist, but not relied upon so heavily, or perhaps does exist but in a much different application/sense.
Essentially, a more critical, concise system with a solid foundation. Someone, a group or even an organization would need to keep track of all this from the very beginning without turning every action into a Gambit that tempts to fail.
