Happy 20th Birthday Devie

Thank you to all those who greeted me.
Yes I do kind of feel old especially with all these responsibilities that crept up to me slowly over the years.
But today has been fun somewhat.
No I didn't party like a rockstar or anything.
I ran some errands and ate dinner and went to the mall.
I gotta admit. When I was a kid I always thought the age "20" was old. Mainly because the grown ups back then told me stories when THEY were 20. It was either they graduated college, bought a house, got married or had children around their early 20s.. Well now that I'm actually 20, I don't even think Im anywhere near "old" because I'm nowhere near ready for any of that. Then I realized that I'm too young to be old and too old to be young.. Holy fuck I'm in limbo.
No but seriously, to me, it doesnt matter how old I am or will be. It won't matter what situation I'll be in at what age. As long as I remember one thing; don't let the kid inside me go away, because that's the only thing that keeps the "fun" when you're getting old. That's what I learned so far in my life. Not much but hey, here's to another decade

I also learned that life is nowhere near fair, and its not gonna hesitate in letting you know as early as it can.
One day everything can be fine just the way they are, but the next day it can completely and drastically change either for the better or worse. Thats when you think that life isnt god damn fair but you'll learn how to live with it.
