Title: Java
Post by: Sabb on November 15, 2011, 12:15:15 PM
I haven't really used Java before, and don't know any good resources for it, but am trying to find some for a friend. I was thinking of a wiki or something similar to the lua wiki, something along those lines.

Hit up Notch.

But for real, try checking a library, seeing if you can't find something there.
Once you do, find it online or at a bookstore to buy

Do make use of the Java API too -> lists all the interfaces, classes, etc -> showing functions, inheritcance, etc in great detail.

Would it cause trouble to learn two different programming languages at the same time?

I haven't gotten back to my C++ book, but Java seems interesting since Minecraft is pretty big.

Hmm, I could maybe scan my computer science notebook. Very long and tedious process though...
