Title: hl2.exe stopped working suddenly...

So when I first started GMod, it said this game was unable to run at this time.
So I was like, alright whatever
Ran it again, everything was going smooth, started loading up SH, and no more than a minute while I was playing, gmod closes on me, saying that hl2.exe w/e.

I'm not sure what's going on.
I think it might have to do with a background thing I downloaded for GMod from one of Jimonions's youtube video's, but I'm not sure.

Also, Gamefreak was telling me that the message after I left was saying something along the lines, "No Steam Logon"

rename your sec garrysmod folder to gmod-old



tell me if it crashes on vanilla

I just reset my computer. I'm going to try again, and if it still doesn't work, I'll do that.

Alright, I did what you told me.
So far it's been working, haven't crashed yet.

The only question, will I have to re-add everything back into this new folder?

copy addons and whatever you want back 1 by 1 to find out what caused it
