Title: programming/designing
Post by: Ἆxule on October 15, 2011, 03:15:44 PM
So I've been thinking about becoming a programmer for awhile now.
I'm thinking more about programming games though, and I was thinking how I would get the designs and such for a game once I'm decent at programming.

What program would I use to draw something and put it into a library for my compiler.
Is there a book out there that could help me with this?

I'm learning C++ as we speak.
I bought a book on it, and so far I'm on lesson 5 out of 29.

Anyways, does making a source mod go with the learning C++ part?

Source mods do require extensive coding.

May sometime you'll get Microsofts attention enough to be allowed to do an indie.

A friend of mine is working on one, and has been given microsoft tools to hacks his xbox, and a skyrim playtesting chance.
U jelly?
