Just wondering.
Either a subforum in the "Help" boards, or another board in the same section.
It would make it easier to separate "i need an opinion" from "shits broken and needs fixing halp".

I like it.

Lol, omfg, I was just thinking about that this morning!

I think "discussion" implies this

Personally, I disagree
Most people that post a thread in discussion post a link, or a story that they want opinions on
However, I'm talking about the thousand topics we have about "Help me build my PC" or "What graphics card should I buy" or "What game should I get"
The difference between the two is that in the latter, most people just give their two cents and leave, without discussing anything.
I usually don't like suggesting a million subforums, but there seems to be a clear division between the two types of threads.

This was already brought up before and everyone came to the conclusion that:
-Trolling/being a dick would take part no matter how serious the thread is
-These are gaming forums for the RND servers and not a support group for help
-Everyones a dick
That's all i remember from the last suggestion that had something to do with this.

Because you totally can't post a thread saying "here are the rules: 1. don't make stupid shitty posts that have nothing to do with the thread" and sticky it
If it's just a gaming forum, why do we have videos, comics, graphics, anime, music, language, illustrations, literature, tech releases, computers, programming, and mapping boards?
That, compared to the games, contraptions, projects, and guides boards. And the promotions.
We have 30 boards, and only 14 are related to gaming in any way. Seriously, there's no reason to turn down an idea because "rnd is a gaming group".
Also, having an advice/opinion board won't turn everyone into dicks. It's not like we don't have moderators.
