It's called Micro Stuttering. Your CPU is having problems rendering the game.Okay. I gave it its own core.
If you know how to set CPU Priority, you should know how to set CPU affinity. Give TF2 a core of it's own. Source isn't optimized for multi-threading.
I don't know alot about this, but isnt that your connection falling away every few seconds?I did try that.
Your game runs smooth besides the freezing, your pc can handle it.
have you tried putting it on very low settings? if it still lags, its not your pc that can't handle it
Ohh I know this.
This has happen to me.
Disable Multi Core rendering in Video Advance options.
Hopefully that will work.

Please, Tell me what multi-core rendering is?
also, disable multi-core rendering
only really works well on quads
Multi-core rendering is really when it loads shit, or if you say spawn a prop in Gmod.My cpu likes to put most of the load on the fourth core and then the others run like 10%
It's not optimized for it though. You'll perform much better (especially on the dual core he's running) if you give it one core, and make sure nothing else is running off it.
I usually run all core processes on core 0, then other applications and shit on the other.
My cpu likes to put most of the load on the fourth core and then the others run like 10%Thats mabe just the game using only 1 core, and the other stuff is like windows and stuff.
Okay so I:
Changed affinity on hl2.exe to core 0, Instead of Core 0 and 1.
Changed Steam.eve priority to low.
Disabled Multi-Core rendering.
Still doing it.
I am mad.
DoingitwrongOkay so I:
Set HL2.exe on core 1
Set all the other shit that remotely taking any resources like steam, firefox, w/e onto core 0.
Okay so I:
Set hl2.exe on core 1,
Skype, Steam, and Chrome on core 0.
STILL
DOES
IT.
You probably have a shitty svhost using all of your CPU while you're playing.Ok how do I fix that
Ok how do I fix that
Bitch doesn't know about my 7 cores.Bitch doesn't know about my 8 logical cores.
The problem just fixed its self magically.Cool story bro kthxbye
