Title: Hurricane Irene

Yesterday the Weather Channel said it would intensify, which it is in the process of doing, and say it is getting even stronger ... now they're saying the track of the storm is changing enough so the northeast - NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, etc - may possibly get hit with Irene still a Cat. II making it the worst storm seen in decades.

I gotta have my video camera ready. This could be awesome - though a little un-nerving especially since I was supposed to meet up with a friend I haven't seen in forever, which would be impossible if the down we live in gets decimated. ~_~

The worst weather that happened here was in 2004 I believe. It was really sunny but the wind was like almost hurricane force, and my junior high school teacher last year told me that they had to close the school in the middle of the day because bits of the roof were coming off. I think I was out of the city that day. Also you an proudly can just cuddle in a corner taking cover it does hit you :)

I always hated hearing the sirens for tornadoes in Oklahoma.
Luckily I live in Hawaii, and though hurricanes are possible, they arn't likely.
Tsunami's don't scare me very much, and it kind of excites me.
Anyways, hopefully this hurricane will go off course.

Irene just hit North Carolina today. They said it was a bit weaker but still a destructive force.
