Also many schools tell the pupils that the earth is 6000 years old and was made by god. What? They never told me anything about that. What kind of magazine are you reading?
Today I read a German magazine. They said that the US-Goverment invest 1,5 billion dollar for preventing sex education at schools. Also many schools tell the pupils that the earth is 6000 years old and was made by god. What!? Is this true?
I think this is not altogether trueI go to a school that is ranked in the top 5-20 schools in California.
although in "less educated" parts of the country
this would not surprise me.

Weird, I was forced to take sex ED, and if you go to a Catholic school or some sort, they teach you about religious views. But in normal public schools, it's against the law for teachers to teach students religious crap.Same here, we went to this place called Robert Crown. They taught us about drug use, sex, etc. I go to public schools so I believe it might be a law to teach the students. I could see Catholic schools throwing in their religious views on sexual contact.
My school never taught sex ed. we learned ourselves. and 90% of all my teachers in my old high school will give you a evil look if you tell them about the big bang.Did you go to a private school?
Many magazines in Europe, like Welt der Wunder arn't exactly the most accurate magazines. Many Private and Catholic schools have different religious views than most public schools in the United States.^

Many Private and Catholic schools have different religious views than most public schools in the United States.Public schools aren't supposed to portray religious views. At least that's not their aim, where private schools are meant for spreading tradition and their religion. So obviously, there's going to be different material taught in each case.

Did you go to a private school? No it was a public school, when they was (and if they still are) forcing students into buying fruits and stuff instead of candy we still was allowed to buy skittles and other sweets and would hide it all when state came in to check up haha.
