I want a FPS...finished RDR in xbox360 and undead nightmare DLC too.
Oh yeah should I apply thermal pasting to the processor?
what you talking about?I've heard YLOD is like RROD whereas your processor or graphics card of the PS3 becomes overheated so it destroys the mother board and some other components.
i have been using my ps3 for a year now... nothing wrong with it even after HOURS AND HOURS of playing

A permanent fix would be to re-ball which pretty much replace those balls under the cpu and use lead soldering. Too bad not a lot of people have access to those kind of machines though.

I'm also scared of breaking my PS3 by re-balling like what you said.
I rather just get the new Slim PS3 since it has a very small chance of getting YLOD, I had a fat one.

I'm also scared of breaking my PS3 by re-balling like what you said.re-balling is a very difficult process and like I said, the majority of the people don't have access to the certain machinery required to do it. Search it on youtube though, people have done it.
