However, the fanbase puts me in a murderous rage and they are the shit that is making anime fans look bad. I hate naruto for creating the kind of people that give anime a bad name.

Rest and then Shippuden: Same. Old. Fucking. Bullshit. It hasnt even stopped yet over 300+ episodes...

That's my personal opinion of Naruto. :sleep:

I think we already established in the thread that the show itself is mediocre.

It's the fanbase that makes you want to kick small, innocent puppies.

Considering the definition of Anime is a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes

It is an anime, it's certainty not the best anime ever created, it's also not the worst. The fan-base is rather irritating. But to me it seems like you guys are trying to be anime hipsters and just not liking it because it is a mainstream anime.

Issues I have with it:
- Flashbacks
- Plot progresses like frozen molasses
- Fillers with no notable reason for having them other than to make it last longer
- Inconsistent Animation quality
- Is about four times as long as it really should have been
- An inordinate obsession with sauske
- A little bit too much like Dragon Ball Z

Things I like about it:
- Some pretty cool fight scenes
- More than occasionally compelling storytelling
- an imaginative world that everything takes place in

I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, but that doesn't mean you should be bashing everyone who watches the show.
