Title: Wont be on the servers for a week or so
Post by: Juan_Ambriz on July 14, 2011, 10:26:17 PM
As you read in the title i wont be on the servers for a week because my Computer is getting repaired...
I WILL however be active on the forum iether on my iPod 4G, or 3DS so sorry if i misspell something
And i want your input for this, I have to ability to update my RAM to 16GB, so that i can run Minecraft Smoothly, i can also update my Graphics card to the best Graphics Nvidia has to offer... Not cheap though
All together about 500-1000$ upgrade....

If you must know, the reason my computer is getting fixed is because i downloaded to much Por.... I mean, the Graphics card got fried so about every 10Minutes of Game Play the graphics card would over heat, they told me the Graphica card can withstand about 70-80 Ferenhight and the computer has to shutdown, yes this did happen to me, it was really annoying.....

HOLY SHIT. why do you need so much RAM anyhow?
I don't see myself ever needing more than 8...at least not by todays standards anyway.

are you upgrading your computer so you can run minecraft better?
why not just get a separate tower to run it on
instead of a god computer to run and host

lol my warranty covers the Graphics replacement, but the RAM i have to pay for...16GB Ram= 250$ :D, and ill just fix it myself, and in like 3 Months once i have enough (i get paid about 50-100$ a month) ill build my own Gaming computer with THIS RAM that im going to buy, but for now im going to use it on my Dell Studio XPS

But what if he wants to watch HD porn while rendering a school project video and playing the latest Dx11 vidya game at the same time?

Thats where the Phenom II x6 struts its shit at. Oh and don't get that HD 5670, get the GTX 460. Much more powerful.
